My list of sims 3 cheats

Here are the cheats I know

To use cheats press ctrl+shirft+c

Testingcheatsenabled (on|off) (True| false): Used for many purposes. Must already be on for many cheats to work.
~Adjust needs by dragging on the bar
~Adjust friendships under the friend ship tag
~Shift click mailbox for many more options
~~Change job and level
~~Make all needs static/ dynamic
~~Make selected sim know everyone
~~Make all happy
~~Force visitor
~Shift click on sim
~~Add sim to active household
~~Modify traits
~~Edit in Create A Sim
~~Force Aging
~Hold shift and click to make sim teleport
~Delete bad motives (shift and click)

constrainFloorElevation [true/false] - Force terrain adjustments regardless of objects, Sims, and other structures

enableLlamas - Enables llamas, obviously (really does nothing known yet…)

jokePlease - Summon a joke

hideHeadlineEffects [on/off] - Hide all meters and effects

quit - Quit the game

help - Lists all available commands

slowMotionViz [x] - Slow motion, where [x] is 0-8 (0 is normal)

resetSim [x] - Resets the named Sim with neutral motives, no moodlets, and teleports Sim back home
where [x] is first and last name

fps [on/off] - Toggles frames per second in upper right of HUD

fadeObjects [on/off] - Toggles object fade when camera zooms

disableSnappingToSlotsOnAlt [on/off] - Hold Alt to avoid object snap when toggled

kaching - While on the lot, this gives you $1,000

motherlode - While on the lot, this gives you $50,000

moveobjects on/off - Move anything (including Sims) in your Buy/Build mode

familyFunds [x][y] - Give money to a family, where [x] is the family's last name and [y] is the amount

fullscreen [on/off] - Toggles windowed mode

unlockOutfits [on/off] - Unlocks outfits in CAS (Create a Sim) mode.
Note: Must be enabled before entering CAS

freerealestate- used to make all real estate free to your sims
Note: Must be used in edit town mode

Freerealestate does nothing to my game -_-

@bdowg - You have to type it in while in edit town mode, right before you click the family you want to move.

That's the case with a lot of cheats... you have to use it just right, otherwise they don't work. In a couple months, I will give a detailed- where to use the cheats and what to use them for. I just have been swamped. But thank you sugarplumpixies for getting the ball rolling on that :Muahhaha:

Another cheat [which I use often] is placefriezes on/off. It allows you to build foundations above ground level. It's great for split levels.

Note: It will not work unless you go out of the foundations tool and then back in [or if you type in the cheat before you go to the foundations tool it will work]. It needs to be turned off if you want to continue building foundations on ground level.

I love Freerealestate...works great when I want to move a starter family into a luxe mansion that I have created lol...

PS there are some things on the Testingcheatsenabled list that have special req's beside having the cheat on. For some of the coolest aspects to work you MUST enable the cheat in the Main Menu screen BEFORE you choose a game file to play.
MUST enable BEFORE for the following:
~Shift click mailbox features

Hey Pepper
Do you know of any tutorial that utilizes the placefriezes cheat? I am in desperate need of a comrehensive lesson on that one. BTW can you place foundations on top of foundations? And if so how many high?

I haven't really seen any tutorials for the cheat. I have seen videos and things that use the cheat, but that's about it. Here's a youtube video that uses it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6JA-ujXVgM It's only two minutes and not exactly a tutorial of everything that can be done with it. I know you can stack at least two foundations on top of each other. I haven't tried anymore and the two were just accidental. o.o But the foundations can only be used outside [unless you use the CFE cheat with it] and they do not count as separate stories. I mostly use the cheat for modern roofs. I had a split level tutorial on a previous magazine site, but I deleted the site and the tutorial with it =/ I'll probably do another one to add here though after I get caught up on some things if ever you'd like to try it out.
