Hi everyone

I am Brittani, and I am utterly awful at intros haha. I have been playing the sims since the first game. I am not limited to only sims or pc games, however. I am a complete gamer nerd chic! Among gaming though I also enjoy drawing, reading, writing, a bunch of outdoor naturey type things. I work in web and graphic design. I am just a total tech geek! I am pretty quiet in the community, not intentionally though. I do share my legacies, that seem to always die to some sort of malfunction or another haha.

The forum looks great and I am looking forward to getting more involved and meeting everyone. I am off to look around some more!

Well, honestly play a lot of games. As far as console/pc games. I enjoy ones like; driving games; Mass Effect; Dragon Age; Skyrim; Assassin Creeds; Civilization; on and on list here haha. I can't play a lot of FPS games due to motion sickness unless I take medication. I do play MMO's too, although I just finally kicked WoW out of my life. I am enjoying Guild Wars 2 now.-- told you. Complete nerd lol

Yeah, I have many gaming friends, but I am the only one of them that plays the Sims lol. I don't really know anyone that I get to talk to too often that sims. That's part of why I thought maybe joining a forum was a good idea lol

Haha XD Welcome to Purely Simspired! I hope you share some of your writing here. I've attempted legacies but either my household glitches or my founder dies before he ever gets married or has kids o.o So, I just stick to building and photography

I may share some! I have the same issues with my legacies. Or I suffer from goldfish syndrome and get distracted. I enjoy doing them though. My husband has the same issues with the dying sims. He doesn't do a legacy, but he is the only person I have ever met to actually lose at the sims (the first one) when he threw a bbq party; started a fire and burned all of his guests and one of the two of his household members to death. Then as the remaining household member mourned the loss of the other one, the dead one came out as a ghost and scared his last sim to death. No more household members lol. His luck didn't carry on to the Sims2 any better


I love to build and take pictures too; I've just never shared them that regularly.

Oh my! He may be worse than my sister. o.o My sister has horrible luck with The Sims. One time she started a family and her Sim had three kids. The two older ones moved out and she was looking at her family tree and the oldest one [who had the loser and unlucky traits] was dead because she starved to death. So she played the other one that moved out so the same thing wouldn't happen to him and when she went back to the mom and youngest child they had moved to another town and she could no longer play them.

In the Sims 2, when I got Seasons she made a family and her son froze to death. She had just started playing so she quit without saving and her son was back but he went outside and was struck by lightening and died. Lol. In the first Sims she just pretty much played to kill her Sims anyway.

HAHAHA! Yeah, she definitely has my husbands luck. I love just watching him play. It provides me with endless amusement. He's a huge gamer too, and good; but it's the one game that just doesn't work out for him.

I played the first sims for the same reason really. I actually did more building than playing in the first one. Admittedly when I did play though, my sim was a black widow though.. Sadly, the Goth's did not make it in my neighborhood lol

I am so excited to get to know you better! I think we have a lot in common based on what I've read so far. I am really happy that you joined. I think you are going to enjoy the chit chat section of the website because you can talk about sims all the time if you want. My husband is a gamer like me, but he doesn't like sims. So I have no one to talk to about it that relates. So looking forward to having more discussions with you.
